Our food tours are important to the local community and economy for several reasons. First, they help to promote local restaurants, food shops, and culinary culture, which can attract visitors and tourists to the area.
We connect locals and visitors with some of our favorite humans – the shopkeepers, farmers, owners and front line workers that feed America. Our joy is to peel back the curtain of how our food is made and connect people with the source.
In addition to showing guests an amazing and edible good time, our goal is to have a positive impact on the local community. We love to promote our favorite local businesses and help put them on the map for visitors and tourists. This means more customers and more exposure for local restaurants and food shops, which leads to increased sales and even helps to create new jobs in our community.
Our guests are more likely to stay longer and spend more money in the local community.
Our Food tours also create a sense of community among the local businesses included on the tour, allowing them to collaborate and support each other. It’s a club. This leads to more sharing of ideas, resources, and best practices, which helps local businesses thrive and innovate.
-
To us, sustainable tourism means expanding our offerings – promoting the food culture in all of the Hudson Valley and promoting local businesses – while maintaining an awareness of the footprint and impact of bringing more people to a place. We are careful to not overflow any one establishment, town or region, beyond their capacity.
Our goal is always to provide unique and immersive culinary experiences, showcasing the best of the local cuisine and culture. It would continue to collaborate with local restaurants and food shops, building strong relationships and a sense of community within the local food scene.
All the while, we are committed to promoting sustainability and responsible practices, supporting local farmers and producers, and visiting homegrown local businesses. This would help to preserve local culinary traditions and contribute to the overall health and well-being of the local community.
We stay on the cutting edge of culinary trends, offering new and exciting food experiences to its customers.
We seek to thrive and grow, while staying true to our commitment to promoting local businesses, culinary culture, and sustainability.

Vegetarian substitutions are available on all our tours.
Nut-free tastings are available on all tours. We have not had any problems in the past, but we do warn of potential cross-contaminations and traces of nuts in kitchens.
Our Food Tours have been designed to highlight the best and most unique aspects of each establishment. Unfortunately, there isn’t always a “next best” food tasting option that also meets the special dietary needs of each of our guests. Since we have your health (and palate!) in mind, we truly appreciate your understanding on this issue.
